Our single origin, organic, fair trade cacao is direct sourced from small family farms along the Ucayali River in the heart of the Peruvian Amazon. It is sustainably grown and ethically sourced, creating positive change for the growers, the cacao, and the earth. It is ethically grown using agroforestry, the most ecologically sound & sustainable growing methods for the earth and cacao plants.

Agroforestry is a biodiverse ecosystem of varied plant and wildlife species coexisting together, creating richer soil, healthier fauna, and a more balanced, vibrant environment for all living things. Our cacao is not grown in a monoculture, but rather in a richly complex habitat that supports soil fertility and health, carbon sequestration, bioremediation, and increased crop stability, while reducing global warming and deforestation.

The cacao plants are grown using integrated organic farming techniques aligned with the rhythm of nature and the holistic health of the ecosystem to create the highest quality cacao beans available. The cacao is grown with fully ethical practices and above fair trade standards.

We stone-grind our cacao with organic coconut sugar and hand pour all of our chocolate in Portland, Oregon.
