We source our organic cacao from a small cooperative of family owned farms in the hills of northern Nicaragua. The farms operate with fully sustainable and ethical practices and above fair trade standards. The growers are offered free education and paid among the highest in the world for cacao production. Our variety-traceable cacao is grown using integrated farming techniques aligned with the rhythm of nature and the holistic health of the ecosystem to create the highest quality cacao available. We stone grind and hand pour our chocolate in Portland, Oregon.
